Volunteer roles for every skill level
How it works
A simple path from sign-up to impact
We host seasonal volunteer days across the Rockford area. Choose an activity, show up ready to learn, and leave with practical skillsโand a healthier local landscape.
1) Pick a project
Select a workday that matches your interests: tree planting, garden support, habitat restoration, or education events.
2) Get prepared
Weโll send details on location, timing, and what to bring. Tools are provided when possible; sturdy shoes and water are always a good idea.
3) Learn by doing
Our team and partners provide quick training on safe tool use, planting techniques, and ecological best practices.
4) Track your impact
We share project updates and outcomesโso you can see how your time supports biodiversity, soil health, and food security.
